Wyoming State Parks Bridge Inspections

The Wyoming State Parks and Historical Sites Department selected Ayres to complete the inspection of three trail bridges. The bridges are the Conner Battlefield Site footbridge, Hot Springs State Park Swinging Bridge, and Sinks Canyon State Park Swinging Bridge. Ayres completed the inspections with a three-person team using rock climbing techniques and rope access while maintaining a personal fall arrest system compliant with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. The inspection team assessed the condition of the elements of each bridge and wrote a report for each bridge that details the inspectors’ findings. Digital photographs were obtained to describe the condition of the bridges at the time of the inspection. The inspections followed National Bridge Inspection Standards.
