University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Welcome Center
« Return to Project SearchAyres designed a new 15,000-square-foot welcome center for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The new center is meant to be the first stop for all visitors to campus and provides the first representation of what UW-Eau Claire is about and has to offer.
The Admissions Department is on the first floor of this two-story building and provides tours daily to prospective students as well as the opportunity for those students and their families to meet with counselors to discuss their desired academic path, campus activities, and tuition.
The Alumni Department is on the second floor and represents the history of the campus with memorabilia and a donor wall. It’s a space for alumni to come back to campus and visit and for prospective students to see the history the campus was built on.
Ayres provided architectural planning and design, site and civil design, landscape architecture design, and structural engineering.
