US 1 Turn Lanes Extension at Old Dixie Highway

Nassau County retained Ayres to provide engineering design and construction plans for construction of a left-turn lane extension on US 1 and Old Dixie Highway (CR 115) to increase the capacity of the queue to 250 linear feet plus the required deceleration distance.
The project included roadway modifications, milling and resurfacing and roadway widening, traffic control by reference, and signing and pavement marking. Services included agency coordination, design, and construction plans. Plan preparation included two phases of submittals: 60% and final plans. Cost estimates were submitted at both phases.
