Fort McCoy Underground Storage Tank Removal
« Return to Project SearchFort McCoy in Wisconsin has often relied on Ayres for environmental services. In this project, Ayres prepared design plans and specifications to remove an underground storage tank for storage of waste oil and 180 feet of transfer piping to the tank.
Ayres also designed a new 550-gallon aboveground waste oil tank and 500-gallon waste radiator fluid storage tank. Our services included designing a floor drain collection system in the paint stripping bay of the Fort McCoy vehicle maintenance facility.
Working inside a secure military facility during a wartime effort provided challenges on this project.
