Ayres worked with the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin on the replacement of a two-span steel girder pedestrian bridge, from design through construction observation. The new bridge is an 85-foot-long single-span prefabricated bridge with a clear walkway width of 12 feet on concrete abutments. Ayres also provided designs for a 180-foot-long boardwalk leading to a scenic destination point and a 20-by-30-foot timber observation deck with benches and planters.

Services included topographic survey, meetings, type study and layout, preliminary and final structure plans, boardwalk and observation deck drawings, roadway plans, and a right-of-way plat.
