The City of Palm Coast retained Ayres for engineering design and construction plans for traffic signalization and roadway improvements on Royal Palms Parkway at Belle Terre Parkway.
The roadway improvements included adding eastbound right-turn lanes, a westbound right-turn lane, and traffic signalization at Belle Terre Parkway. The project also involved geometric changes, mast arm traffic signals, signing and pavement marking, and handicap ramps designed to Americans with Disabilities Act standards on the existing sidewalk on the west side of Belle Terre Parkway. The project included milling and resurfacing as well as minor widening to accommodate the new turn lanes.
