Racine Bridge Inspections
« Return to Project SearchThe City of Racine has selected Ayres for 12-month and 24-month-frequency bridge inspections over an approximately 10-year period. The 24-month-frequency inspections, occurring in even-numbered years, involve routine, fracture critical, movable, and underwater inspections of 26 highway and pedestrian bridges. Ayres provides qualified inspection team leaders (ITLs) and two-person teams for the routine, fracture critical, and movable bridge inspections. Three-person teams of qualified ITLs and divers complete the underwater inspections. The 11 highway bridge inspection reports are processed in the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Highway Structure Information System. The 15 pedestrian bridge inspection reports follow a template developed by Ayres.
