The City of Palatka selected Ayres to conduct outreach services, grant management, environmental site assessment, and redevelopment services with the goal of facilitating the redevelopment of brownfield sites. Our work involves leveraging grant dollars to capture the imagination of community leaders, investors, and residents toward revitalizing blighted areas.
Our team is proactively managing brownfield redevelopment planning and efforts, investigating soil and groundwater impacts in project areas, evaluating remedial options, and assisting with community involvement/outreach. Brownfield sites included in the services include the Cypress Mills, Florida Furniture, and 11th Street Corridor properties.
Services include site inventory, selection and planning; environmental site assessments; progress reports; EPA project work plans; data evaluation; site investigation reports; remedial action planning and reporting; programmatic reports; analysis of brownfield cleanup objectives; and community involvement.
