Naturita Stormwater Repairs and Drainage Master Plan

The Town of Naturita experienced back-to-back flooding disasters during the summer of 2016, preceded by three years of unprecedented levels of rainfall in a historically arid region. Ayres provided emergency flood damage repair and replacement design services to restore its stormwater infrastructure to its previous level of flood protection, bringing the Town to the point where it can plan long term restoration and mitigation work. Services also include completing a drainage master plan for the Town.
Repairs have been made to an existing detention pond, including construction of a new emergency drainage system that includes a spillway of partially grouted riprap. Work also includes stormwater pipe installation and replacement of an existing culvert crossing structure.
