Muskego Moorland Road Construction Services

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Southeast Region, selected Ayres to provide construction observation services for the reconstruction of approximately 1 mile of Moorland Road from Woods Road to Janesville Road in the City of Muskego. The $3.5 million project changed the roadway from a rural section to an urban section and converted the southern intersection to a new roundabout. The roadway was closed to traffic throughout construction, and detour routes were posted. Services included grading, storm sewer, water main adjustments, curb and gutter, a detention pond, asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalk, multi-use path, street lighting, signing, and pavement marking.
