Macomb County Underwater Bridge Inspections

The Macomb County Road Commission retained Ayres to complete underwater inspections of 26 bridges in the County. The County gave the notice to proceed on November 18, 2008, and requested that the inspection reports be completed by December 17, 2008, and 24 of the structures were inspected under this schedule. Inclement weather prohibited completion of the remaining two inspections in December; these bridges were finished in spring 2009.

Services included underwater bridge inspection, report writing, stream bed cross section plots, and underwater inspection safety. The underwater inspection reports were generated using the Michigan Bridge Inspection System and spreadsheets generated in-house.
