Leinenkugel Brewery Pasteurization Addition

The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company, a subsidiary of Miller Brewing Company, retained Ayres for architectural and engineering services for the construction of an addition to an existing brewery in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. The project resulted in a 5,000 square-foot addition to house pasteurization equipment and a visitors entrance for brewery tours.
The addition is in an area that contains several underground utility lines, including a major municipal sanitary line, which made the project more complex. Utilities had to be relocated while the brewery remained operational. The visitors entrance is designed to harmonize with other decorative, historic masonry brewery buildings. Services included survey, architecture, structural engineering, and municipal engineering.
