Jamestown Drainage & Stormwater Management Master Plan
« Return to Project SearchThe Town of Jamestown selected Ayres to prepare a drainage and stormwater management master plan to identify and prioritize risks and problem areas. Our team identified trouble spots such as undersized culverts; areas in need of a storm sewer collection system; and areas with inadequate storm conveyance, heavy erosion, and mudslides and debris flow. Stormwater quality and management strategies were identified, and the master plan provided a roadmap to identify priority projects to execute as funding becomes available.
Services included holding public information meetings, EPA SWMM hydrologic analysis, SRH-2D analyses of James Creek, and conceptual design of two improvement projects. Ayres also provided the feasibility study for the Town to look at bridge alternatives for the Little Main Street bridge and finalize hydraulics and countermeasure design.
