I-275 SUE Services (SR 60 to Hillsborough River)

This Florida Department of Transportation project involved the reconstruction of I-275 from Memorial Highway to the Hillsborough River. Our team used electromagnetic locating devices along with ground penetrating radar (GPR) to locate utilities, many of which were 5 to 12 feet deep under I-275. Our team coordinated with Skanska construction crews when clearing areas for proposed structures. We provided locating, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), and survey for the existing underground facilities.

We located utilities for the following:

• Mast arm foundations

• Arterial dynamic message sign (ADMS) foundations

• Closed circuit TV pole locations

• Drainage structures

• Bridge pilings

• Drainage pipes

• Electromagnetic Locating
• Ground Penetrating Radar
