The Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Southeast Region, retained Ayres to provide construction engineering services for the rehabilitation of the East Lincoln Avenue viaduct over the Union Pacific Railroad in Milwaukee County. The road was closed during construction of this 0.27-mile rehabilitation and redecking project.
Construction tasks included bridge deck replacement, bearing replacement, steel girder repainting, and bridge approach work. Ayres provided invoice oversight, construction observation, material testing, record keeping, and construction closeout.
