CTH M Gas Line Relocation
« Return to Project SearchMadison Gas and Electric (MG&E) retained Ayres to provide several services for its gas line relocation along CTH M on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin. MG&E led an effort to coordinate its utility relocation with multiple utilities, and it developed a joint utility trench design concept.
During the design phase Ayres helped prepare plan sheets for the joint trench installations; provided field survey to locate other nearby utilities; prepared traffic control plans; coordinated with City of Madison, City of Verona, and Dane County staff; and provided a constructability review of the plans. During construction Ayres provided field staking, construction observation, and as-built data collection services. After construction Ayres produced as-built plan sheets for all of the utilities involved with the joint utility installation.
