I design municipal and civil/site projects; prepare plans, specifications, and bidding documents; prepare permit applications and stormwater management plans; and perform construction observation. I also prepare cost estimates and work with clients, regulatory agencies, and construction contractors. I have experience in county, state, and interstate highway design and construction observation, and I have designed pedestrian and multiple-use trail systems in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I work with design software such as Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, Visual 3D, InRoads, and MicroStation.
I've also worked on wind farm projects, providing civil design for two projects totaling more than 180 turbines. I was responsible for oversight of construction on the site civil elements on both projects.
