One More Selfie … And This One Cleans Up
Our inaugural selfie contest is officially closed, but we want to share one more photo with you.
Iris Robayo, left, proposal coordinator in our Tampa office, and Maria Baucom, a transportation designer in the Tampa office, snapped this selfless selfie while pitching in during a Great American Cleanup event along the Courtney Campbell Trail, where an Ayres-designed, 3,258-foot-long pedestrian bridge crosses Old Tampa Bay between Clearwater and Tampa.
We thank the clients who participated in our selfie contest and sent in such creative photos in front of Ayres-designed projects. Who knew engineering could be so much fun?

Gary Lively says: I recently (5/10/14) walked the CCT with my wife and was appalled at the garbage on the trail. I would like to organize a monthly cleanup walk, but not being a social media user, I am stymied about how to do such a thing. Hints appreciated.

Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful organized the April 12 cleanup that included parts of the Courtney Campbell Trail, so that organization might be a good first step in organizing a monthly cleanup.
