Nice Catch! Ayres Acquires Frisbie
We are thrilled to announce that Frisbie Architects has joined the Ayres Associates fold. This acquisition more than doubles Ayres’ architectural staff, and Frisbie’s River Falls office becomes our 12th office nationwide and the fifth in Wisconsin. Shown above, from left, are Chief Financial Officer Richard Schoenthaler, President Tom Pulse, Frisbie Architects founders Shari and Mathew Frisbie, and Executive Vice President Jan Zander. Matt Frisbie was named Ayres’ vice president for architecture.
With a portfolio of more than 800 projects, including many that integrate sustainable design features, our new staff members offer our clients a new depth and diversity of architectural and interior design expertise that will enhance the services we provide on a variety of projects: design for aging, health care, religious, municipal, K-12 and higher education, and commercial.
Ayres Associates’ long history of providing a range of engineering and architectural services is strengthened with this addition of professionals who perfectly match our culture: family-oriented people with unquestionable ethics who build long-lasting relationships with clients.
The new River Falls office serves clients in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and beyond, and its staff members are passionate about contributing to the fabric of the communities where they plan and design beautiful projects. Like Ayres Associates, the Frisbies and their staff have long derived the majority of their work from repeat clients, which proves they make their clients happy! Combining these resources will allow us to serve our existing clients better and build new client relationships with a more complete service offering.
Among the recent projects completed by the staff joining Ayres are the renovation of the 106,000-square-foot University of Wisconsin-Stout Memorial Student Center; hundreds of thousands of square feet of assisted living facilities in more than 25 locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Texas; and the River Falls City Hall, a new 27,000-square-foot Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (Silver certification) facility (pictured below).
And here is an article from the River Falls Journal that provides the hometown take on the acquisition.
