New Senior Project Manager Brings Stormwater Expertise to Highway, Municipal Projects

Curtis-Hulterstrum-2016Curt Hulterstrum, PE, brings decades of experience in water resources engineering as he joins Ayres Associates’ Waukesha office as a senior project manager. His floodplain management planning, stormwater management planning and design, and floodplain and stormwater regulatory compliance experience will benefit Ayres Associates’ clients in southeastern Wisconsin and throughout the nation.

Hulterstrum’s background in the consulting industry and in the public sector includes drainage system design, bridge and culvert hydraulics, construction site erosion control, stormwater and floodplain regulatory compliance, and computer modeling.

Hulterstrum has provided stormwater expertise on major Wisconsin Department of Transportation projects, including the I-43 North-South Corridor, the Highway 41/29 System Interchange, Highway 50 Reconstruction in Kenosha County, Marquette Interchange Alternatives Analysis and Preliminary Engineering, Highway 41 Capacity Expansion at De Pere, and Stormwater Compliance in several WisDOT regions. His municipal experience ranges from street projects to stormwater management projects in Milwaukee, New Berlin, Glendale, Oshkosh, Sun Prairie, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Kenosha, and Wisconsin Rapids.
