Bryan Haider, PE, has been named vice president of Ayres’ MEP Division and will enter that role in 2025. Haider has played a critical role in expanding the firm’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering operations to new clients in the West. He is based in Ayres’ Fort Collins, Colorado, office and currently holds the title of senior project manager/mechanical engineer.

Haider has proved his ability to manage several projects simultaneously across multiple service lines. He excels at communicating with clients, getting to the root of their challenges, and leading multi-disciplinary teams to optimal solutions. This has prepared him well for the collaboration he will help facilitate as MEP joins other Ayres divisions in providing comprehensive solutions to clients.

Haider’s design and project management experience has concentrated on HVAC and plumbing systems for the retail, multifamily residential, food service, and local government sectors. He also has experience in the education, commercial, industrial, and military sectors. Haider has managed recent projects for Target, Kwik Trip, Chuze Fitness, and Monterey One Water.

Haider jumpstarted the development of his leadership skills by participating in the Emerging Leaders Training Program of the Minnesota chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers’ Communication and Leadership Workshop.

Haider joined Gausman & Moore in 2016, became an Ayres employee when Ayres and G&M merged in 2021, and transferred to the Fort Collins office in July 2023. Haider has led the MEP Division’s commissioning team in developing standard operating procedures, he has created staff training materials for use in design software, and he has created automated software processes and features to streamline design work. He led implementation of opportunity tracking and marketing material creation, and he assisted staff with personal business development goals to push forward MEP’s expansion efforts in the West.

“Lots of publications and organizations celebrate the exciting leadership demonstrated by young professionals in their ‘40 under 40’ lists – or, in the case of Engineering News-Record, their Top 20 Under 40 awards,” says Jan Zander, executive vice president and chief operations officer. “That kind of energy is what we look forward to in Bryan, who has proved his management mettle early on. Ayres will benefit from the generational diversity and added perspective he brings to our leadership team as we continue our pursuit of our 10-year target.” Haider holds professional engineer licenses in Colorado, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Haider is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and was a member of the Emerging Professionals Committee of ACEC Minnesota from 2019 to 2022.
