Brian Glaszcz, PLS, has been promoted to manager of Ayres’ southern Midwest survey group, effective August 28. Glaszcz will put his 15 years of professional experience to work as he keeps our survey crews up to date technologically while delivering work that anticipates and meets our clients’ needs.

Based in the Waukesha, Wisconsin, office, Glaszcz will oversee 15 employee owners. In his previous role as a project manager, Glaszcz showed respect for his clients’ time by processing information quickly and providing practical and cost-effective solutions. His diverse background includes fieldwork and project management in civil design, commercial development, utility mapping and maintenance, and terrestrial scanning.

“Brian proved his leadership skills while in the role of supervisor, and I am eager to watch his leadership take this group to the next level,” says Jason Krueger, vice president. “I am encouraged by his vision for the future – not just in terms of managing his group, but also in terms of growing the staff and their technical capabilities to maintain Ayres’ position as a leader in survey services that deliver precise, user-friendly mapping.”

Glaszcz is focusing on building Ayres’ client base in the Waukesha and Madison offices and increasing the level of worksharing between those offices. His focus will also extend to the Southeast and the West.

“Survey has really branched out to Colorado and Florida, and I have been heavily involved in that,” Glaszcz says. “I want to improve on the groundwork we have laid and build on that quality.”

Glaszcz is licensed as a professional land surveyor in Wisconsin and Florida and holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from the University of North Dakota and an associate’s degree in civil engineering technology from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Glaszcz is an active member of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors. He is past president of the Society of Southeastern Wisconsin Land Surveyors and chairs its Government Affairs Committee.
