Corsi Enters Project Manager Track
Brianna Corsi, PE, who started her career at Ayres in 2017 in the field of water resources engineering, has progressed to the first step of becoming a project manager at Ayres. Her responsibilities now include assisting project managers in overseeing projects, including learning the details of leading teams, tracking project budgets, reviewing deliverables, and the many other details that go into project management.
Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, Corsi will also continue collecting data and providing design and analysis on projects involving hydrologic studies, hydraulic modeling, bridge scour studies, countermeasure design, floodplain permitting, and river restoration. She is an important technical resource in the use of programs to aid in hydrologic studies, hydraulic analysis, mapping, and design, including HEC-HMS, WMS and SRH-2D SMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS Pro, Civil3D, and MicroStation (OpenRoads).
“From designing countermeasures that protect bridges against flooding, to processing large sets of topographic data, to designing resiliency into roadway projects, Brianna has proved both her technical chops and her people skills,” says Dusty Robinson, PE, supervisor of river systems health. “I look forward to watching Brianna take on new responsibilities and grow into a role that she’s well prepared for.”
Corsi earned a bachelor’s degree in ecological engineering from Colorado State University and holds a professional engineer license in Colorado.
