Ayres Mitchell BanachMitchell Banach, PG, recently was promoted to the next level of project management at Ayres. Based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Banach is a geologist within the Development Services Division’s environmental team.

Banach has over 14 years of experience in environmental consulting, having worked on several hundred Wisconsin projects stretching from the northwest region to the state’s southeast corner. This promotion provides Banach greater autonomy and project leadership opportunities.

Banach’s background includes performing and managing Phase 1 and 2 environmental site assessments, site investigations, storage tank closures, National Environmental Policy Act environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance and hazardous building material inspection projects. He has significant experience in preparing regulatory reports, permits, and plans for industrial facilities at the federal, state, and local levels, including hazardous substances, air emissions, hazardous waste, wastewater, and prevention of stormwater pollution and oil spills.

Banach’s field experience includes soil, groundwater, wastewater, stormwater, air, lead paint, and asbestos bulk sampling; soil and groundwater remediation; and regulatory compliance facility inspection.

“Mitch is an accomplished environmental scientist who seamlessly blends meticulous attention to detail with a profound understanding of regulatory frameworks,” says Keely Campbell, PG, manager of development services in the Midwest. “His recent promotion is a testament to his unparalleled expertise in navigating complex environmental challenges and fostering exceptional client relationships. I’m excited to see him take this next step.”
