Eslamian Takes on Supervisory and Business Development Roles After Promotion
After a recent promotion, Samin Eslamian, PE, is now supervising California mechanical engineering staff and is representing Ayres and its mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services at California conferences. She continues to bring her strong organizational, strategic, and communication skills to her project management role and design work in our Los Angeles area office.
Eslamian excels in designing efficient, cost-effective, and visually appealing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing systems that comply with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. She has a passion for learning, implementing, and teaching others new technical concepts to deliver better and better results to our clients in commercial, healthcare, education, and other markets.
Eslamian’s leadership is critical in overseeing the entire project life cycle. She plans strategically to maximize resources while reducing errors, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. She meticulously coordinates the design team’s efforts, ensuring that all project milestones and deadlines are met, and she holds regular team meetings to assess progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project objectives. She is proficient in various design and calculation software, as well as energy analysis engineering software, which adds to her ability to deliver high-quality projects.
Eslamian has a strong technical background in accurately calculating thermal loads and estimating ventilation system requirements. She uses EnergyPro, Trace700, and System Analyzer software to conduct energy calculations for Title 24 Part 6 compliance. Her project teammates benefit from her experience in designing various project types, including restaurant, retail, emergency service center, and housing projects.
“Samin brings enthusiasm and excitement to everything she does,” says Bryan Haider, PE, vice president of MEP Services. “Her passion for her work is apparent to everyone she works with, and her positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges will continue to push her toward success in her new role.” Eslamian holds professional engineer licensure in California. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mazandaran University and a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Sciences and Research University, both in Iran.
