Nuclear Power Plant Bulkhead

Crofton Diving Company was retained to replace an intake trash rack and to complete concrete repairs at this East Coast nuclear power plant bulkhead. Crofton retained Ayres to design a floating bulkhead system that could be used to dewater each of the cooling water intake structures. The bulkhead is designed so that it can be used at one intake structure and then either be removed from the water or be moved to the next intake structure for repairs.
