Menominee CTH M Design and Construction
« Return to Project SearchThe Menominee County Highway Department retained Ayres to perform the design for resurfacing a 17-mile section of CTH M, an east-west corridor surrounded by the Menominee Indian Reservation that is primarily used to move goods and services and serve local commuters throughout central Menominee County and west-central Oconto County. This roadway also serves as a major corridor for logging trucks. The project was funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Ayres’ services included an alignment survey; pavement report; request for 3R standards; design study report; and plans, specifications, and estimates.
Ayres also provided construction observation services. This work consisted of documenting daily activities of contractors, quantity measurement for payment, weekly erosion control inspections, pay estimates, and an as-built plan for future reference.
