I-94 Jefferson County Construction Observation

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Southwest Region, retained Ayres to provide construction observation for the rehabilitation of 0.83 mile of I-94 from Airport Road to CTH Y in Jefferson County. The rural project involved rubblizing concrete pavement and placing asphalt pavement. It also included base aggregate dense; slope grading; culvert pipe lining, jacking, and boring; beam guard and terminals; traffic control; permanent signing; pavement marking; landscaping; ramp gates; traffic surveillance camera and detectors; bridge painting; ramp improvements; and a salt storage building.
